Hello there!  My name is Elaine Dickson.  I am the founder of Dental Insurance Training Plus.  Welcome to our website!

I began my career in dentistry in 1976, as a chair side assistant.  My passion has always been learning how to master the complex, often exasperating dental insurance process, and how to overcome the challenges it presents.

In 1992 I published my book "Winning the Dental Insurance Game".  Since that time I have lectured on the subject of dental insurance , and have authored several online training programs as well.  

​

My vision is to help my colleagues master the art of effective dental insurance  management and thereby help lower stress and enhance practice profitability.  Many dental professionals have voiced concerns over unpaid claims, past due receivables, and low case acceptance because insurance is dictating care.  It does not have to be that way!

In many practices today little attention is given to the proper handling of dental insurance and patient financial concerns.  This can lead to misunderstandings and have a devastating effect on practice growth and profitability.
